A Satellite Educational Course : Interpretation of Neonatal EEG

Lecturers: 1) Assoc Prof Akihisa Okumura (Juntendo University, Tokyo)
                   2) Dr Tetsuo Kubota (Anjo Kohsei Hospital, Aichi)
Program: 1) Normal EEG in term and premature babies (80 min)
                  2) Abnormal EEG in term and premature babies (80 min)

Aims: To provide an introductory guide for the biginners on how to interpret neonatal EEG .

Method: A CD containing pre-recorded neonatal EEG samples will be afforded to each participant and interpretations  will be given by the lecturers along with actual reading of neonatal EEGs on PC.  
  
Language: Japanese only.

Attendance:  Principally , the attendance will be limited to 50 pre-registered and pre-paid Japanese. However, foreign participants of ISNS are welcome for attending the Course without pre-registration nor payment  although only Japanese language is used in this session. It is advisable, however, for anyone who  interested in this course to write his/her intention to
isns2011@juntendo-nerima.jp  beforehand because seats available are limited.

Requirements :
1) Individual Windows note(portable) PC.
2) A textbook (in Japanese) for neonatal EEG, published from Shindan To Chiryo Publ Co.     
The above two items should be equipped privately.
