Awards & Bursaries
The ISNS Organizing Committee will provide assistance towards attendance at the ISNS, Tokyo, April 8-10, 2011, for a limited number of young researchers, physicians and trainees from economically less priviledged countries/regions.
(1) The best poster presentation award will be provided to a few people who will be selected by the Award Committee based on the best quality of posters. The Awardees will receive the certificates and a certain amount of cash (100,000 JPY in total for this category).
(2) Bursaries will be provided to ten people. Each will receive 70,000 JPY. Selection will be made by the Award Committee on January 31, 2011.
The candidate should apply to this competition by submitting the Application Form filled-in together with a copy of your passport to the ISNS Headquarter either by fax to : +81-3-5923-3217 or by e-mail to <isns2011@juntendo-nerima.jp> by January 20, 2011.

Eligibility consists from:
- Age younger than 40 years old.
- Trainees, postgraduate students, and arduous aspirants to learn pediatric epileptology.
- Registration to the ISNS by paying the registration fee in full, just in the same way with ordinary participants.
To avoid a waste of spending precious money by choosing a false pretender, who actually do not appear at the Meeting, the condition of pre-registration is considered to be important.
All applicants are requested to register before January 20 in the junior physician’s category. This is a kind of guarantee, and it will be refunded later to a successful Awardee at the Congress venue.
If you failed to be selected as a bursary awardee, the registration fee already paid will not be refunded.
- Abstract submission is not necessarily essential, but it will be considered favorably.
