  • Submit the abstract by online at theUMIN website.
    If in case you are not able to submit by online form, please sendy by e-mail to the secretariat as an attached Microsoft Word2003 or 2007 document.

  1. Free Paper: The number of words is limited to 220 for the Abstract Text and 300 for the total of the Author's Name, Affiliation, Title, and Abstract Text. Any words beyond that number will not register.
  2. Others: The number of words is limited to 350 for the Abstract Text and 430 words for the total of the Author's Name, Affiliation, Title, and Abstract Text. Any words beyond that number will not register.

Abstracts must be accompanied by

1) Full name(s) of author (s)
2) E-mail address of the corresponding author (All correspondence will be sent via E-mail)
3) Institution / Organization
4) Mailing address, including city and country
5) Phone number
6) Fax number
7) Title of paper
8) Abstract Body
9) Category

Conflict of Interest (COI)

All First Authors are requested to declare any conflict of Interest (COI) concerning a presenter and their families (spouse or relatives to the first degree) or persons who have shared income or assets within one year prior to the registration of the abstract. This declaration will not have any influence on abstract acceptance.

Please refer to the "COI Declaration form"(click here to download), check your status, and answer the question in the online abstract submission page.

If you state that no items apply, that will be printed in the abstract book,
and you will not need to submit the COI Declaration form.

If you state that item(s) apply, please fill in the "COI Declaration form", and send it to the secretariat by postal mail.

The content of the declaration will be printed in the abstract book. Also on your presentation, it is requested you disclose your COI status by indicating the slides. The standard format slides (PowerPoint file) will be provided by the secretariat, sending an attached email file after the abstract is accepted.
